Privacy Policy
Effective April 28, 2026
Tenelix Cloud (“Tenelix,” “we,” “us”) operates a multi-tenant healthcare management platform. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and disclose personal information when you visit tenelix.com, register for an account, or use the Platform.
1. Information we collect
We collect three categories of information:
- Account data — your name, email, role, and the tenant you are a member of.
- Operational data — information you submit through the Platform: patient records, appointments, clinical notes, prescriptions, invoices, payments, and inventory entries. We process this data on your behalf in your capacity as a healthcare provider.
- Technical data — IP address, browser, device type, and the timestamps of actions you take on the Platform. This is used for security, audit, and operational telemetry.
2. How we use information
We use the information you provide to: deliver and improve the Platform; secure the Platform and detect abuse; produce audit and compliance evidence required by you or applicable law; and communicate with you about service changes, security advisories, and support requests.
3. Roles under data protection law
Where the Platform is used to process personal data of patients, clinicians, or staff, the customer (your clinic or hospital group) is the data controller and Tenelix is the data processor. Tenelix processes such data only on the documented instructions of the controller and pursuant to the Data Processing Addendum.
4. Sharing of information
We do not sell personal data. We share information only with:
- Sub-processors strictly necessary to operate the Platform (cloud hosting, transactional email)
- Authorities, where required by law and after notifying the controller where lawful to do so
- Acquirers, in the event of a corporate transaction, subject to confidentiality and the same protections as this policy
5. Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data, including encryption in transit and at rest, tenant isolation, access controls, and continuous audit logging. See our security page for technical detail.
6. Retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Platform. You may request deletion of your personal data subject to our legitimate retention obligations (audit, legal, tax). Tenants control their own operational data and can export or delete it at any time.
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact privacy@tenelix.com to exercise these rights.
8. International transfers
We host data in AWS regions selectable per Enterprise tenant. For Standard tenants, data is hosted in our default region disclosed in your contract. Where data crosses borders, we use Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent transfer mechanisms.
9. Cookies
The Platform uses strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management. The marketing site may use analytics cookies; you can opt out via your browser settings.
10. Changes to this policy
We will publish updates to this policy on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-product notice.
